Coldest Day in the Last Two Years

It's official. Today is the coldest day we've had in the past two years. It was cold enough for sea smoke. Sea smoke on the ocean, on the York River and on the Piscataqua. Sea smoke is lovely--harsh and wonderful.

O my, the land of frozen foam and sea smoke. I gotta come up there sometime and investigate these curiosities of nature. Do you have a long enough tele to capture the sea smoke as the sun rises or sets with the glowing colors? That would be an awesome shot...but you would have to fight the elements a bit.

I saw the seasmoke down by the seashore too.

Marie I tried this morning, without success. Even though it was colder this morning, the sea smoke was thin and small--not billowing as it was yesterday. We'll try tomorrow again, although it's supposed to warm up.
