Recipe For A Festive Evening

Cosmopolitan Champagne Cocktail

1 1/4 c. Cointreau or Grand Marnier
1 1/4 c. cranberry juice (I'm substituting pomegranite juice this year per Michele's recipe. Yum.)
1/2 c. plus 2 tablespoons lime juice
3 tablespoons superfine granulated sugar
4 c. chilled Champagne

Stir together Cointreau, juices, sugar. Cover and chill for 2-6 hours. Fill champagne flutes 1/4 to 1/2 with mixture (depending on desired sweetness) and top off with Champagne. Makes 10 servings.
