My parents and aunt and uncle are visiting from Ohio. We thought they might enjoy meeting some of the local folk, so we called up to Walker's Point and asked if 41 could come out and play. He said yes, so we agreed to meet in Perkin's Cove.
He brought Barbara with him, but she doesn't ride on the boat, she just eats at Barnacle Billy's. 
A rather large crowd had gathered to gawk, and as the President left the restaurant, he shook hands (including my aunt and uncle's) and chatted with folks. Regardless of politics, I couldn't help but be impressed by his graciousness and the time he took with each person who wanted to talk to him. My Uncle Don was so thrilled he says he's not going to wash his hand, ever.
The Secret Service Zodiac boat flies the flag of the United States of America, the Texas State flag and the Maine State flag (and those are your tax dollars at work folks).

Duke, a retired guy, and Eula, a working gal, have been perusing your site for a while even though we are Rhode Islanders (Rhodys). We have enjoyed our daily dose of Mainia. So last week we, along with Kola the dog, visited my 91 yr old mom in Kennebunk at ATRIA and then decided to head down east. We missed you and Bushes at Barnacle Billy's but headed up to Rockland for dinner at Primo's, and then on to the Ocean House in Port Clyde after also passing through Friendship and Cushing. Ate at Dip Net after glorious day on Monhegan. Then taking RT 1 we ended in Bar Harbor for 3 days biking the carriage trails, hiking, swimming, eating to our hearts content at places such as Thurston's, Jordan Pond House, and Two Cats. Spectacular weather provided wonderful vistas from atop Mt Cadillac. Will return next year and meanwhile we'll continue to enjoy the amusing musing from Maine.
PS: We saw far more Subaru wagons like ours than either Minis or Priuses. Maybe because they can carry 4 chairs and a table in one trip from Port Clyde to Cushing.
