
How cool is this? The Library of Congress has compiled a catalogue of color photographs from the late 1930's to 1945. The above is Caribou, Maine 1944, and below is a potato harvest up in The County:

This shot is labeled "Gilead, Oh?" but might be my dad's hometown of Mt. Gilead. An annotation indicates that they are still researching the exact location. You can
